Safety and Security
The safety and wellbeing of our residents and staffs has always been our number one priority during this pandemic. With our robust infection control in place you can be confident that Barnham Manor is a safe and protected environment that provides high standard of care for you and your loved ones.
CCTV is in operation in the communal areas for the purpose of monitoring the safety of our residents.
All residents rooms have an emergency alarm that can be used to call for immediate assistance.
Barnham Manor complies in all respects with current building regulations and the most up to date fire safety requirements. The home is divided into different compartments which will immediately separate via the closure of all of our fire doors if the fire alarm is activated. This action will be activated manually or automatically via detection from one of the smoke detectors that are located in every room.
We have eight fire exits as well as an alternative fire escape staircase that has been fitted within the design of the home which will permit swift and progressive evacuation by the fire brigade in the event of a fire.
Visitors
Barnham Manor welcomes visits from resident’s family and friends at any time, although we do respectfully request that lunchtime, which is an important social part of our residents day and held between 11.30 and 12.30pm daily, is avoided if at all possible.
